Local Union 792

Established in 1941, Teamsters Local Union 792 represents Beverage, Vending, Brewery, Candy, Grain, Malt, Taxi and Ambulance industry workers throughout the Twin Cities and southern Minnesota. Our members bottle and deliver soft drinks, deliver beer, make candy and malt, direct cameras at a local television station and work in grain elevators.

Local Union 792 fights for strong contracts, fair wages and great benefits. We provide excellent representation in grievance and disciplinary issues for our members.

Officers and staff strive to be available and accessible to rank-and-file members. Frequent plant visits and regular meetings at our greater Minnesota bargaining units are a fact of life for our business agents. We sponsor a lively annual picnic for members and their families. Over 75 percent of our bargaining units contribute a penny per hour, per worker to the Teamsters Service Bureau. We strive to use technology to bring the best service to our members at the lowest cost.
