Local Union 970

Teamsters Local 970 represents Metal Shop Workers & Warehousemen in the Twin Cities and central Minnesota. We are the people who craft the backbone of America's industry. We forge and fabricate metal, from horseshoes to duct work, and manufacture everything from grain equipment to dance floors.

Our Local Union has a long tradition of solid contracts and representation. Given the nature of the work that many of our members do, we stress safety in the workplace. We pride ourselves on our solidarity and community involvement with youth sports leagues and other activities.
